Mitsubishi Motors which is a Japanese automobile giant will be launching Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X in India in 2010. This release will be made following the success enjoyed by the Mitsubishi Outlander. The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X sedan will be released through joint venture between Mitsubishi and Hindustan Motors.
Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X Specification
This car will be introduced in the Indian market as a completely built unit initially. The car has excellent exteriors, interiors and variety of safety features as well. The car comes equipped with 2L DOHC turbo engine and this engine can deliver power of 359 bhp at 6500 rpm along with peak torque of 492 Nm at 3500 rpm.
The engine is mated with 5-speed manual transmission and the car is available as four wheel drive. The car also features sequential 6-speed semi-automatic twin clutch SST transmission. The engine is extremely powerful and can reach speed of 100 km/hr in 4.7 seconds.
The length of the car is 4530mm and its width is 1830mm while its height is 1470mm. The kerb weight of the car is 1537 kgs. The suspension system of the car includes McPherson strut with anti roll bar for the front while the rear has multi link suspension.

The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X review indicates that the car is expected to deliver mileage of 12 km/litre in the city while the mileage on the highway is expected to be 15 km/litre.
