The Mitsubishi Pajero was imported by Mitsubishi with its partner Hindustan Motors in Indian SUV market in March 2002. In the initial period the car was imported as completely built unit. The car has been given a facelift and is now available as Mitsubishi Pajero SFX. The car is available in single variant in the country.
