The Nissan Qashqai was introduced as a replacement of the Almera hatch. The Qashqai has been developed as a cross between an off roader and a hatchback. The vehicle has a stylish and imposing design and the car is expected to become available in the Indian market from September 2010.

The first Datsun 240Z rolled into American showrooms in 1969. Four decades later, we've got our hands wrapped around the thick, leather, multi-function steering wheel of its direct descendant, the all-new 370Z. From the toothed front grille to the flared rear fenders, the styling leaves little doubt about its intended sports car mission. With more than a passing resemblance to the Nissan GT-R, the 370Z lures stares and thumbs-up from pedestrians, and stoplight competitions from boy racers

The interior of the 370Z is just as impressive. Forget everything you knew about the questionable 350Z interior – the 370Z is nice enough to wear an Infiniti badge. Top rate upholstery, plastics, and synthetics exist in abundance within the cozy cockpit. There is storage (or an optional NAV system) above the audio system. The three-pod IP, with three more gauges center-mounted high on the dash, is just about perfect. Unfortunately, the earned grade drops two full letters with the inclusion of that terrible fuel/coolant temperature mess on the far left. While it looks really poor in pictures, it's even worse in practice as the slightest bit of ambient light washes it out (or you find yourself mindlessly counting the remaining dots on the fuel gauge).

Nissan 350z

A proper sports car for the everyman. If we had just one sentence to describe the Nissan 350Z, that'd be it. While there have always been plenty of unobtainable sports cars out there to drool over, the 350Z's relatively compact dimensions, rear-wheel drive, two seats, muscular engine and sharp handling came at a price that real people could actually afford.

The Nissan 350Z represented the fifth generation of "Z" sports cars from this Japanese manufacturer. At its debut in 2003, the 350Z represented a key component of Nissan's rebirth in the North American market. For much of the late '90s and early new millennium, Nissan's lineup was full of lackluster cars. The Z brought back the company's spirit of fun and performance that had been missing ever since the discontinuation of the previous 300ZX.

The 350Z coupe was replaced by the 370Z coupe for 2009, while the 350Z roadster lived on before following suit the following year. In coupe or drop-top form, the 350Z was quite popular so finding a nice example on the used car market should be relatively easy. That said, keen shoppers will want to pay close attention to the car's changes and updates that were made through the years.

Most Recent Nissan 350Z

The 350Z sports car bowed in 2003 as an all-new model and was produced until 2008 (coupe) and 2009 (roadster). The first year there was only a coupe, as the roadster did not debut until the following year. Initially, the coupe came in base, Enthusiast, Performance, Touring and Track versions, while the roadster was limited to Enthusiast and Touring trim levels. The Track trim came with lightweight wheels and Brembo brakes, but its suspension tuning was the same as all other coupes.

In these early years, the V6 produced 287 hp and 274 lb-ft of torque. Power was sent to the rear wheels through either a six-speed manual or a five-speed automatic. The Track model had the manual only. Changes were minimal in the first few years, though Nissan did release a 350Z 35th-anniversary edition in '05. This manual-transmission model produced 300 hp (but less torque) and came in three exclusive colors.

For '06, Nissan included the Anniversary Edition's 300-hp V6 for all manual-equipped cars. There were a host of other changes as well, including mildly updated styling, speed-sensitive steering, larger brakes for non-Brembo-equipped models, a higher-quality interior, more standard features and a newly available navigation system. The Performance trim level was dropped. This was also the first year for the Grand Touring trim level, which was similar to the Touring but had the Track's Brembo brakes and wheels.

For '07, Nissan fully updated the V6 for all 350Zs and it made a potent 306 hp. The Track trim level was dropped, but in its place came the coupe-only Nismo 350Z model. The Nismo model dropped many luxuries in favor of performance-enhancing upgrades, such as a stiffened, seam-welded chassis, firmer springs and shock absorbers, special wheels and various aerodynamic upgrades. Inside, each Nismo 350Z had red and black cloth seats, a gray-faced tachometer and a number plaque indicating its build order in the production run. 

Nismo models were also produced for the coupe's last year in 2008; the following year brought the all-new 370Z coupe. For '09, the roadster carried the 350Z flag; the following year it was replaced by the all-new 370Z roadster.

In reviews, we found the Nissan 350Z to be an engaging sports car to drive hard. The V6 pulled strongly when revved past 3,000 rpm and generated one of the most distinctive engine and exhaust-note soundtracks available (something its successor lacks). The 350Z's ability to provide serious grip through corners made it a favorite of our enthusiast editors. At the limit, the car's handling could be a bit tricky, so steady hands were required.

Nissan, the largest auto manufacturer in the world, is reported to launch its flagship car model, Nissan GTR in India. The sports car which has coupe design was first introduced in Japan in December 2007 followed by the U.S. in July 2008 and the rest of the world in March 2009. The car is also known as Godzilla across the world. The concept car of Nissan GTR was displayed at the Tokyo Motor Show in 2001 and 2005. However the production model of the car was showcased in 2007 Tokyo Motor Show and launched commercially in Japan on December 6, 2007.

After the commercial launch, Nissan GTR was launched in different countries with a few upgradation. Recently the car was displayed at Tokyo Motor Show 2009 with some changes. The car Nissan GTR was brought to India in March 2008 for display purpose only.

The Nissan GT-R is a flagship sports car for the brand, offering performance that takes on some of the world’s top performance icons like the Porsche 911 Turbo and Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1. Technically, the Nissan finds its heritage from a long line of Japanese-market Nissan Skyline sport coupes. That said, handling is excellent and the variable power-split all-wheel drive system helps make you both fast and safe.

Exterior upgrades for 2012

Starting with the basics, the front and rear exterior fascias will obviously be changed. Interesting, Nissan even went back and modified the paint across the board – claiming higher quality. Nissan will also add two new metallic colors, red and black.

Our spies have spotted two GT-R prototypes–one a Spec V, the other appearing to be a standard model–both sporting the same changes to the rear bumper, and similar changes to their front fascias. Additional changes are slightly visible peeking through the covering on the front corners. The GT-R refresh will likely stand until an all-new model launches in 2013 or 2014.

While not intended to project an obvious “eco” image, the Ellure design includes serious elements of efficiency. The Ellure grille, with its large polished Nissan badge, was inspired by “Kamishino” Samurai formal coat. The final accent to the Ellure exterior is the paint treatment. The front passenger seat design includes a forward-facing ottoman, and both front seats include elegant “floating headrests.” Other interior features include hidden audio system speakers embedded in doors and headrests, interior “alcove” style, recessed lighting design and armrest touch controls with haptic feedback. Along with displaying Nissan’s future sedan design language, the new Ellure presents a conceptual preview of how future Nissan sedans can balance the conflicting desires for fun-to-drive performance, ample passenger/luggage utility and sustainable mobility.

The prestigious Austria-based tuning company Koenigseder has released a new kit for the Nissan GTR. Next was the all new Nissan GTR aerodynamic kit with a moderate design. Additional modifications to the exterior include aftermarket 21-inch rims in a two-tone black and orange color finish. Regarding the technical improvements, Koenigseder hooked up the Nissan GTR with a new air filter, Akrapovic titanium exhaust system, and a remapping of the ECU. Australian tuner Koenigseder paint it with a radioactive shade of orange. A front spoiler (orange).  A new rear bumper with a cast-in diffuser (orange), lower side skirts (bright. freaking. orange).

The 2011 Nissan 370Z comes in two versions the2011 Nissan 370Z priced at $30,610 and the 2011 Nissan 370Z Touring priced at $35,280. The 2011 Nissan 370Z has the loud engine and quick, responsive handling  with smooth, powerful acceleration and stable steering control that makes 2011 Nissan 370Z is comfortable commuter vehicle with high-performance ride.

The 2011 Nissan 370Z powered by High Performance 3.7-liter V6 engine with 332 hp at 7,000 rpm and features optional 6 speeds manual transmission or 7-speed automatic transmission with a manual shift assist.  The new feature “SynchroRevMatch” mechanism automatically ups engine speed on the downshift for smoother engagement that makes this car Comfort.

The standard 2011 Nissan 370Z wheel and tire package features 18×8.0-inch front/18×9.0-inch 5-spoke lightweight aluminum-alloy wheels with P225/50R18 front/P245/45R18 rear Yokohama ADVAN Sport high performance summer tires.
